There was a huge turnout at the Women's only 5K Walk/Run to raise awareness for breast cancer. This little girl "Cameron" signs the pink firetruck to show her support for the cause.

It was a beautiful fall day and I went for a walk on the Greenway that begins at Armstrong Park in High Point, a favorite playground of mine when I was a kid. The Greenway cuts through High Point University where I met this cyclist, Kirby, waiting on some friends at a rest spot that overlooks the HPU baseball field. The campus of HPU has grown tremendously since Nido Quiben, became the president of the University.

Chuck Edgerton, Head of Photography at RCC, introduces a former RCC photography student John Rolland. John and his family spent several years on a Mercy ship sailing around Africa where he captured many powerful images that he shared at a forum with current RCC students.
